Christi with Captured on Cloud 9 has joy that is child-like in the sense that it is contagious, yet adult in the sense that it is calm, wise, and organized. For this reason, she connects easily with children and their parents. As an educator, I have keenly noticed her wisdom and natural ability to gain the respect of the children in loving ways. Her energy for good-for-ya-fun is what every parent wants their child to be surrounded with! Your child will leave her care feeling energized, feeling that his/her creative outlet has been fully met, and having learned new and lasting things about nutrition, dance, art, nature or fun in general! As the very choosy director of the school, and parent as well, this is why I have trusted her with my own child and my students.

The Spring Camp Day with Christi Rein was a lot of fun for my daughter, Julie! She enjoyed all of the activities and emphasized her pride in accomplishing a 'win,' during a PE-like game which can be challenging for her. Although the kids played competitively, it was with good attitude and team spirit that allowed Julie to have fun and win a game!
Her most favorite part of camp was making Chia Seed Energy Balls!
Julie says, "they are soooo delicious and they're good for you, too! All of us kept coming back for more and more!"
Christi provided the kids with Tupperware to take home their treats and Julie proudly served us all her Chia Seed Energy Balls with detailed instructions on how she made them.
This activity in camp encouraged Julie to cook all of us supper one night, using a secret recipe she invented years ago in play - Hot Berry Chicken. It was a success not only in taste but in overcoming her fear of cooking on the stove and in finding new confidence and interest with food - a big win for a kid who struggles with oral sensory processing disorder.
Julie and I both give Christi Rein's camp two thumbs up and look forward to more programs with her at Chinook Spirit Children's Academy.
